Job Description
Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software
Maintain integrity of personnel files
Process hiring and termination related paperwork
Process benefit enrollment actions
Schedule or conduct new employee orientations
Maintain human resources documents, such as organizational charts, directories, or performance management forms
Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees
Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions
Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities
Respond to employment verification requests
Respond to unemployment information requests
Answer basic employee questions related to company policy, benefits, or other HR related issues; escalate issues as appropriate
Maintain a high level of confidentiality
Provide excellent internal customer service
Act as a back up to Receptionist/HR Clerk during breaks and days off
2-4 years of relevant work experience including personnel records management, benefits administration, new hire onboarding, employee relations
Ability to field basic HR related questions and creating HR communications to staff
Bachelor's degree in related field
High level of attention to detail
Strong computer skills; specifically, MS Office products
Medical Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401K
