Bachelor's degree and three years of experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade NE1. Starting wage minimum $17.87.
Preferred QualificationsServe the Business Operations Center with the highest level of excellence to process HR transactions and escalate unresolved issues to the Business Ops Lead(s) accurately, consistently, and quickly. This role is expected to possess knowledge and skills in HR functional areas of expertise and apply knowledge to execute transactions and escalate any identified issues. Critical thinking and independent judgement are necessary to advance the university wide HR administrative business processes through the continued improvement cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day tasks for Bus Ops functions, including but not limited to recruitment, personnel actions, payroll reporting, payroll escalation report review and analysis, leave administration and leave processing. Maintain transaction workflow through CRM tool and maintain department tracker for efficiency, accuracy, and transparency. Escalate any items needing further review or approval to the appropriate Business Ops Lead. Identify areas of improvement or efficiency within transaction processes for review and mapping by Leads and Director. Work cooperatively with all team members and the manager to develop business process standards and resource guides for future use by team members and customers. Provide review, feedback, and support of quality improvement initiatives.
