The Senior Analyst in Executive Compensation is integral in supporting executive compensation programs and processes including compensation committee support, proxy, stock administration and plan design. This individual also supports broad-based compensation processes including analyzing market data to create competitive compensation recommendations and evaluate positions to make job level and salary range recommendations as well as perform ad-hoc equity analyses to assist Human Capital and business partners' evaluation of compensation arrangements.

Specific responsibilities include:

General administration of Navigant’s equity plans including reporting and analysis as may be required

Work with external vendor to prepare and distribute equity grant documentation to participants

Act as primary liaison between Executive Compensation and Payroll departments for complex, non-routine equity transactions

Articulate basic equity award terms to both individual employees and Human Resource partners as needed including resolution of employee inquiries relating to equity awards

Provide support in the management of Navigant's Board of Directors compensation plan

Prepare materials for Compensation Committee meetings, including - setting of agenda and topics for Compensation Committee meetings and preparation of materials

Keep apprised of governance and compliance issues as they relate to executive compensation

Assist with communication strategies and materials for compensation actions

Interpret executive compensation arrangements to effectively update equity awards when required

Assists with the annual salary and bonus review process

Additional responsibilities include:

Assist and/or participate in the development and delivery of compensation training and

communication for Human Capital staff

Assist in conducting pre- and post-acquisition analysis and activities

Analyze organizational pay practices and make recommendations for salary changes to ensure internal equity

Provide consultation on management requests for ad hoc job analyses and salary recommendations

Participate in special projects as assigned

Education and job specific:

Bachelor degree required in HR, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 2 years of experience in the field of compensation (preferably Executive Compensation)

Prior experience in equity plan management, SEC filings (proxy, etc) and preparation of BoD and

Compensation Committee materials

Strong computer skills required, including advanced Excel skills

World at Work compensation coursework preferred, but not required

PeopleSoft and Fidelity PSW experience a plus

Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in managing sensitive pay data

Mental/Physical Requirements:

Communicate frequently with co-workers as well as with managers to discern their needs, and be able to express themselves

Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently

Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work

Usually remains stationary for the majority of the day

Frequently communicates with clients and coworkers and must be able to share information effectively

Generally works in an office environment
