Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will support the Total Rewards Department by managing all SAP functionality, data interfaces with Total Rewards vendors, software upgrades and reporting needs.  They will also oversee multiple financial functions such as monthly unit benefits billings, vendor reconciliation and payments, Voluntary and part time benefits programs, tax filings and required Healthcare Affordability and Accountability filings. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Management of SAP processes, interfaces, outputs, upgrades and reporting *Management of Financial processes such as the benefits premium billing of more than $900 million annually in billed charges and related payments, Active but not Paid functions, management of associate arrears processing, mangement of required state or local programs such as Healthy San Francisco *Management of Ernst & Young relationsip for all healthcare reform reporting, including 1094 and 1095 filings and Marketplace research and responses *Responsible for all federal tax filings such as the annual 5500’s and Medicare Secondary Payor *Management of Voluntary benefits program including primary contact for Mercer Voluntary Benefits team, administration of all programs whether on Mercer platform or benefits administration platform and collection, reporting and payment of associate contributions *Management of benefits program for non-full time associates currently administered through SRC/Aetna *Management of support staff of exempt and non-exempt associates as well as monitoring of both labor and project costs, to meet department budget

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

*Advanced SAP skills *Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills *Intermediate Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills *Strong attention to detail with the ability to capture and organize data in a manner that allows for impactful analysis and insights *Ability to communicate effectively with associates at all levels in a corporate environment *Excellent organizational and follow through skills *Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment *Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

*2+ years data and/or relevant experience; support of an HR function strongly preferred *Bachelor’s degree preferred *Experience with SAP software required
