We are a company of enthusiasts and have passion for our products! Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR team in Cypress, CA. The HRBP is responsible for managing a broad spectrum of Human Resources functions that includes strategic business partnerships, talent development, workforce planning, and employee relations. Job Scope: As a HRBP, you will be responsible for aligning the HR value-chain with the business objectives of Yamaha and his\/her client groups. You will also serve as a consultant to organizational leadership on HR-related issues, and seek to establish a positive HR brand within the organization. You will assess and anticipate the HR-related needs of the organization and your customers, communicate those needs proactively within HR and business leadership communities, and fulfill those needs by utilizing your HR body-of-knowledge, relationships across the organization, and through a sharp focus toward providing value to your customers. You will be a part of a highly-skilled and effective HR team that is located throughout the US, and will report directly to the HRBP functional lead. The successful HRM\/BP: Builds close relationships with customers, partners, and teammates, constantly striving to increase the HR value-proposition for Yamaha. Consults with organizational leadership on matters involving the Human Capital of Yamaha. Provides talent management guidance to leadership and employees on topics such as performance management, training, coaching, counseling, career development, and succession planning. Consults with leadership on workforce development needs, and partners with Employment on the delivery of recruiting\/employment deliverables for his\/her assigned locations and client groups. Analyzes key HR metrics in an effort to proactively identify workforce trends and facilitate the creation of value-add HR programs. Partners with leaders and employees to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal and policy requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business-related field; Master\u2019s degree a plus. A minimum of 5-7 years of overall HR experience, with at least 3 years as a Generalist. Customer-focus mindset, with a proven ability to work closely & build relationships with stakeholders and partners. A dedication to developing yourself, team, and customers. An ability to manage multiple deliverables and initiatives spanning the landscape of HR. Well-honed organizational abilities, with an aptitude for continuous improvement.
