The Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition has global responsibility for all Talent Acquisition operations and strategic initiatives. This includes sourcing, assessment, selection, RPO management, search firm management, university relations programs, diversity outreach, internal mobility, and professional hiring.
This role is responsible for delivering an extraordinary candidate and hiring manager experience and will participate in the development of recruitment strategies at all levels and programs to support business operations throughout SC Johnson's business divisions and corporate office.
The chosen candidate will demonstrate skills of a person who welcomes challenges and rolls up his/her sleeves to develop solutions. This person must possess strong organizational skills, as well as a commitment to quality, accuracy, timeliness, and results. The person stepping into this role will incorporate measurement to gauge the effectiveness of their strategies, using such metrics to guide follow-up actions that ensure the delivery of sustainable and measurable business outcomes.
A successful candidate will have 10 years of progressive talent acquisition experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. This person must have broad-based recruiting, assessment, and talent acquisition experience with progressively more responsibility in leadership roles. Progressive experience in recruitment outside the US and HR Business Partner roles, in addition to Talent Acquisition, is even more desirable. In addition to the requisite experience in talent acquisition, the incumbent must demonstrate strong business savvy and financial acumen.
Work closely with senior business leaders to identify executive talent needs and oversee the identification, assessment, and selection of external executives
Serve as the subject matter expert on employment brand awareness and implement, measure, and monitor metrics that impact SC Johnson's branding strategies
Responsible for reporting and analytics managed through all Applicant Tracking systems for all levels: hourly, salaried, and executive
Develop annual recruiting plans and channel strategies (events, social media, direct campaigns, 3rd party relationships, retained partners)
Develop competitive college- and graduate-level recruitment strategies, execute annual internship programs and participate in new technologies to attract progressive candidates
Act as a strong partner to business leaders to provide consultation on talent acquisition strategies and challenges. Develop effective working relationships with leaders at all levels of the organization. This leader will be highly strategic yet a strong operator
Introduce new and/or improved methodologies for attracting, assessing, and selecting the best talent
Leverage project management skills to achieve desired goals through organization scorecards/analytics
Continuously review and adjust the recruitment organizational structure, processes, and resources to achieve optimal results. Evaluate continuous productivity and quality metrics. Design and implement structural and process changes as appropriate
Review/assess the applicant tracking systems to ensure it meets the needs of the organization, making recommendations as necessary
Develop and apply scorecard metrics and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of the recruiting efforts and turnover in the organization. Provide the organization with time sensitive performance metrics and seek feedback regarding the effectiveness of the talent acquisition team
Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with laws and regulations Knowledge Base:
Broad technology background geared at new mobile and social selection strategies as well as the use of validated selection tools
Superior leadership and influencing skills and ability to drive strong talent outcomes across the organization
Have an in-depth knowledge of a variety of sourcing methods and have a strategic focus and ability to execute in this fast-paced environment
Proven experience in developing strong relationships and in successfully interfacing and negotiating with all organizational levels
Process-focused and outcome-oriented
Experience owning processes that cross organizational lines
Demonstrates a strong technology bias, the ability to analyze data and the ability to leverage their knowledge of ATS systems and RPO options to drive quality, innovation and efficiency throughout the recruitment process
Experience developing and executing employment branding strategies
Financial acumen; specifically, must have had responsibility for a budget
Accomplishments in innovation, strategy development, and execution
Collaborative decision-making and work style
Comfortable with working thru gray/ambiguous areas

Must be a motivated self-starter
Exceptional business acumen and knowledge of business drivers Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Master's Degree, MBA, or relevant functional discipline
