The Academic Personnel/Human Resource Analyst serves as an integral part of the Central Personnel Service Unit (CPSU) Team for BCOE. The position reports to the Director of Bourns College of Engineering (BCOE) Academic Personnel/Human Resources, and Payroll Shared Service Center and makes significant contributions to academic personnel and staff HR objectives of the college. The Analyst will work closely with the Associate Dean of Academic Personnel, the AP/HR Director and the SSC Operations Manager, in the development, implementation, administration, analysis, and evaluation of all College Academic Personnel and Human Resource procedures, as well as, provide analysis for complex projects. The experienced professional serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will provide training to the College Department/ Centers/ Program administrators and POSSC Shared Service Center team on campus Academic Personnel and Human Resource systems, and Labor Relations ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
4 - 7 years of related experience.
Shift Work (hours outside standard Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM work hours)
Ability to analyze complex management issues; develop project scope and solutions, give professional advice to senior officials and make critical decisions regarding personnel.
Thorough knowledge of organizational
policies and procedures, knowledge of
functional area and understands how
