This position is responsible in assisting with the full cycle recruitment process for the company. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Some office or administrative experience.
Experience in human resources or college level education in HR or recruitment.
Understanding of HR employment practices, areas, policies and procedures.
Advanced communication skills, verbal and written, in English.
Basic skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong time management skills. Must be able to prioritize.
Strong organizational skills. Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to think logically, establish and follow procedures, instructions and make sound decisions
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends as needed.
One (1) year of experience in corporate recruiting.
College degree in HR or related field.
Assist with full cycle recruitment, as needed.
Maintains electronic files, records and documentation for each job opening in a neat and organized manner.
Drafts, updates, and posts advertising of existing openings.
Update and maintain a minority outreach program(s)
Identifies, recommends, and participates in outreach events
Assist with the review and development of job descriptions.
Answer departmental phone calls and route to appropriate HR representative
Assist employees with HR related questions, or route to appropriate HR representative.
Assist with managing 3rd party staffing vendor relationships.
Assist with the preparation of the Affirmative Action Plan to include review and analyze the applicant flow reports and perform audits of the job files.
Perform filing of confidential documents.
Performs additional projects and duties as assigned
The employee is regularly required to use their hands and fingers.
The employee frequently is required to talk and/or hear.
The employee is continuously required to sit.
The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Report safety hazards
Immediately report incidents involving injury, illness, or property damage
Wear protective PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as instructed or necessary
Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and rules
Refuse any unsafe task or operation
Participate in safety meetings and training
Be constantly aware of their personal safety and that of their coworkers
Receives direct supervision from the Recruiting & Systems Supervisor, and indirectly reports to the Human Resources Assistant Manager. This position does not exercise supervision over any position.
Indoors office, controlled temperature environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate due to telephones and employees that approach the department.
