The Compensation and Benefits Analyst (CBA) will support the administration of Compensation and Benefits programs for Bank of America Merchant Services. The CBA is responsible for developing and conducting analyses, interpreting results and making recommendations that support the development and maintenance of the compensation and benefit programs aligned with the organization's total reward strategy.
Benefits Essential Functions
Research and respond to internal and external benefit inquiries from associates, ADP and/or Benefit Carriers.
Coordinate with designated carrier representatives to resolve benefit issues such as eligibility discrepancies, invoice payments, and benefit plan interpretations.
Coordinate benefit eligibility files with ADP and Carriers.
Reconcile carrier reporting /files with ADP internal reporting systems.
Analyze participation and utilization for all benefits on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Analyze benefits experience for cost-control and risk-assessment factors. Uses data to monitor trends and recommend educational initiatives, benefit plan changes, and vendor changes
Compensation Essential Functions
Analyze organizational pay practices and makes recommendations for salary changes to ensure equity.
Participate in salary survey submissions and ensuring benchmark accuracy to existing positions
Work with HR Business Partners to ensure accurate job descriptions for positions in organization.
Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy.
Bachelors Degree in business or a related field or a combination of education and experience
4-6 years of related experience
Ability to research complex questions and produce clear and concise results
Ability to conduct complex analysis specific to invoice reconciliation, budget projections, and benefit plan details
Highly motivated to succeed in a performance driven environment
Ability to multitask and change direction in ever changing environment
Strong communications including oral and presentation skills
Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products
Standard office environment: Work typically involves close visual acuity on a computer to access, view, read, prepare and analyze data and other written communications.
Less than 5% travel may be required to perform the essential requirements for this role.
