MSRC offers a full range of oil spill response capabilities intended to help meet the planning criteria of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990.

Human Resources Coordinator

to work

in our Herndon, VA location

. The HR Coordinator will be part of a professional, team-oriented organization implementing human resources initiatives across the organization.

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing support for a wide variety of HR activities including: processing of employee lifecycle transactional work, supporting recruiting efforts across social and digital platforms, developing internal communications, and providing administrative support for HR programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Ensure employee life-cycle transactions are accurately recorded, including employee files and entering employee information into HRIS system.

Support company-wide recruiting efforts to include maintaining accurate and effective recruiting tools, supporting social media presence, and executing deliverables on digital platforms.

Develop accurate and engaging employee communications related to HR programs, benefit features, and other employee information.

Perform administrative functions, including reconciliation of benefit and program invoices. .

Assist with HR initiatives and projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree, or work experience in lieu of degree; coursework in Human Resources and/or Communications is a plus.

Experience designing and maintaining social media platforms

Excellent communication skills, including speaking, listening, and writing.

Desire and ability to be a fast learner in the principles and practices of human resources.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including moderate to advanced level in Excel and Word.

Proof of COVID19 vaccination required.
