We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR professional to act in a consultative role with our management team, as we respond to the growth and change that trendsetters often experience when met with strong positive response from both clients and the industry.
In your role as Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in our Mountain View office, you will assess and anticipate our HR needs, acting as liaison between our HR department and upper management. You’ll leverage your strategic HR management skills to develop solutions that align our HR programs and policies with our high-level business objectives. Serving as an employee champion and change agent, you’ll bring value to both our company and our employees, in an exciting growth environment. This is your chance to shine in a high-profile role, as you explore the fascinating field of digital healthcare solutions.
Provide strategic business partnership and coaching to Livongo’s managers and leaders
Develop and maintain an effective working knowledge of Livongo’s mid- and long-range plans, its culture and its competition
Meet regularly with various department heads to assess and advise on current employee needs
Work closely with management and employees to continually enhance working relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
Build strong relationships with key people in the client group by frequently connecting with them about their concerns and insights
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) to enhance organizational effectiveness
Partnering with our legal department as needed, maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR and employee management, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations as needed
Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and processes
Provide consultative advice related to business unit restructure, workforce planning and succession planning
Assist in driving various HR initiatives: performance management, goal setting, merit reviews and employee career development
8 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner
6 years’ experience with management coaching
Previous international exposure/assignment with ability to work across various cultures
Demonstrable success designing and implementing performance management and employee relations programs
A people-person mindset, with a natural knack for building relationships and rapport at all levels of an organization
Experience and effectiveness working with senior leaders and associates that are located remotely
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide presentations in a productive, compelling manner
Natural and effective coaching/mentoring style
Deep understanding of HR functions, policies and best practices
Knowledge of employment/labor law
Demonstrated project management and change management skills
The drive of a self-starter, with the ability to lead programs independently
Business acumen and strong consultative skills
Strong business ethics
