Job Summary: The Learning and Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for supporting and facilitating training and development programs offered through the Office of Human Resources. Job Duties Include: * Maintains responsibility for monitoring and supporting the performance management module in the PeopleAdmin system as well as ensuring compliance with the UNC System and OSHR performance appraisal policies. * Participates in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and organizational development programs including leadership and supervisor development and a curriculum of traditional professional development workshops. * Manages the Educational Assistance programs, including Academic Assistance and Tuition Waivers, as well as assists with New Employee Orientation twice per month. * Communicates with campus regarding upcoming performance management deadlines. * Markets and promotes learning and organizational development programs. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.
