This position is in the Treasurer's Office of General Accounting and Payroll reporting directly to the Payroll-Personnel Specialist for the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..  The incumbent is involved in the day to day operations which involve the use of the time and attendance system (webTA) and use and understanding of the National Finance Center Payroll System (EPIC). Works with members of various departments to gather information needed to implement all payroll functions for Gallery employees.   ,educationRequirements:You may submit copies of your transcripts or a course listing. Ensure information on new and existing employee are entered correctly in the National Finance Center Entry, Processing, Inquiry and Correction System (EPIC). Process Personnel actions for cash awards, performance awards and spot cash awards in EPICnEnsure all new employees hired biweekly are entered and coded correctly in the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. time and attendance system (webTA). Process all changes to employee’s timesheet profile in webTA requested by timekeeper, supervisor, Budget office and Comptroller. Perform leave audits for any leave discrepancies found on the Leave Error Report between the NFC database and webTA.nUse knowledge of National Finance Center Reporting Center procedures to generate employee’s Earnings and Leave statements, W-2’s, Personal Benefit statements and other statistical reports that would aid the various agency departments.nMaintain Budget Office Personnel database which includes compiling and downloading information of employee’s salaries, Employee’s Position Number (EPN) (vacant and occupied), assign new employees to decision centers and prepare a list of separated employees for the distribution of the bi-weekly report to the Comptroller and the Budget Office files. Compile and download quarterly information from the Budget Office of Personnel Budget Office database the budget cost for each employees’ salary, position title, EPNs, duty hours and fund source by decision center for the distribution of the quarterly Federal and Private Position Detail Report to all department heads. Verify any errors in the bi-weekly and quarterly reports and notify the Budget Officer to correct the errors before the distribution of the reports,qualifications:Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the next lower grade or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector.nSpecialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service, performing payroll functions of all employees at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..nOther Relevant Eligibility Criteria: None.nAn equivalent combination of education and experience is fully qualifying and meets the minimum qualification requirements. Candidates must reflect in their submitted USAJOBS résumés the possession of this specialized experience.  If their résumés do not include such specialized experience, they will be ineligible for this position.Those applicants who meet the minimum qualification requirements will be evaluated against these factors to determine the best-qualified candidates.
