Demand Media’s Talent Acquisition Team is looking for an incredible Manager, Talent Acquisition.  This process-oriented expert will work with the Talent Acquisition, HR, Finance Teams, and Organizational Leaders to ensure that Demand Media maintains one of the best hiring organizations and keeps up with its hiring goal.  Responsibilities fall into three main areas of ownership; own recruiting tools (such as CRM, ATS, Talent Community, etc.); recruiting workflows and process improvements; and recruiting analytics.  This role is the glue that ties together a cross-functional staffing team.. The right candidate will be scrappy and resourceful, creative and driven -- and excited to share the excitement of working at Demand Media.  This role reports directly to the Sr. Vice President of People and Operations.  As this is a new role at Demand Media, this leader will have the opportunity to join the building out of a new talent acquisition team, structure, and processes that will allow Demand Media to continue in their new found mode.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage cross-functional processes and drive process improvements
Own Demand Media’s recruiting technologies, including a new end to end recruiting solutions that includes a candidate relationship management tool, applicant tracking system, talent community, predictive analytics, workflows, integrations, sourcing solutions, new hire document collection, and all other software and technology supporting
Directly source and recruit qualified, exceptionally talented candidates for a variety of open positions across all of our business units.
Build and develop a complete on-boarding and training program for new members of the talent acquisition team including TA Specialist, TA Managers and TA Partners.
Work with TA team to regularly evaluate and revamp recruitment policies and processes.
Partner with the talent acquisition teams to create individual and team goals and develop methods for efficiently tracking those goals
Liaise with Finance and the People department to optimize planning process and determine quarterly headcount
Continuously optimize, define and document talent acquisition workflow, processes and procedures
The internal resource and consultant to recruiters and hiring managers on all matters related to recruitment strategy
Help build job descriptions and internal documentation supporting hiring at Demand Media
Design and manage efficient offer letter process
Ensures the integrity of system data and all reporting
Form relationships with business leaders to determine prioritized headcount lists
Perform analytics for the recruiting team and hiring managers
Train key stakeholders on all TA systems and processes
Manage recruiting coordinators and own and enhance the scheduling process
Requirements:
Bachelors degree and 5 years of internal operations experience in Talent Acquisition
Track record of successfully implementing and managing new technologies
Strong analytical skills – ability to demonstrate impact and efficacy of refreshed processes on the business
History of strong partnering and collaboration across teams and organizational boundaries, can get things done in a matrixed environment
Agile and lean; someone who doesn’t add process for the sake of process, instead making meaningful change
Ability to train, coach and consult throughout the organization
Experience in the launch and optimization of processes and programs designed to continuously improve service delivery
Must have a proven track record and solid reputation for building and supporting high growth, high performing talent acquisition teams in a very fast paced environment
Passion for technology, wide range of knowledge regarding tools and data that enable efficiency
A strong attention to detail
Strong communication, presentation and creative thinking skills
Must have strong MS Excel and Power Point skills, strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
Experience working with end to end recruiting solutions (Greenhouse, Ascendify, Jobvite, Findly, etc.)
Strong leadership, influencing and relationship-building skills
