OVERVIEW: The Payroll and Benefits Manager will be responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll, benefit payments, answer benefit and payroll questions, and reconcile benefit liabilities to the general ledger. The Payroll and Benefits Manager assists the Senior VP of Finance, Admin and HR, the Controller and accounting staff by accurately and efficiently performing a wide range of functions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process payroll via ADP WorkforceNow
Prepare payroll related reports as needed.
Enter new hires
Explain ADP and benefits to new hires
Reconcile general ledger accounts.
Assist with various audits.
Other duties as assigned.

$55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related field;
At least 5 years of experience in non profit accounting environment
Thorough knowledge of ADP WorkforceNow, certification preferred.
Experience with reconciliations of general ledger and expense accounts.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Demonstrated analytical and communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills, specifically in relating well to diverse groups.
Demonstrated written and oral communications skills, with a particular ability to write clearly.
Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
Ability to quickly grasp and understand organizational structure.
Keen attention to details and a healthy persistence in following through.
