Job Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing and analyzing benefits programs, the Leave of Absence process, as well as compensation structure for our family of companies The HR Manager, with support from Director of HR, and will be responsible for the analytical and technical support for the programs.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee and improve benefits administration

Process improvement with IT as it relates to Benefits and Leave of Absence situations

Supervise three employees; Benefits Specialist, and two HR Absence Management Specialists

Restructure compensation program for the family of companies

Vendor exports and review of error reports

Interact with service providers to proactively identify problems and issues and work to resolve and preserve data integrity

Interpret plan procedures and policies; recommend benefit enhancements and changes, and process simplification

Ensure that benefit plans are administered according to plan documents and governmental regulations

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with insurance companies, drug companies, attorneys, third party administrators, other benefits vendors and outside consultants

Assist with special projects as assigned

Ideal candidates:

2+ years managing employees required

Bachelor's Degree

Strong communication, systems, organization and project management skills.

Highly developed analytical and technical skills required including proficiency with Microsoft Office products as well as HRIS.

Incumbent must have extensive knowledge of pertinent employment laws including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Social Security and DOL requirements

PHR/SPHR or CEBS certification preferred.
