We are currently seeking a HR Recruiter

to join the Credit Union’s Human Resources team. The HR Recruiter will be rresponsible for high volume, full-cycle recruitment activities for branch and call center positions of the Credit Union. Group and online interviewing methods are utilized in order to maintain ongoing candidate pool. The HR Recruiter will develop tactical approach based on position and stays apprised of movement amongst the branches in order to place future internal and external applicants. Assists with recruitment related reporting and metrics and administers compensation program parameters to new hires, promotions, tracks transfers and position changes. Assists with intern program by participating in interviews, working with HR Recruiter on intern placement, assists with mock interviews and placement in new hire classes and appropriate follow-up documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Directs selection and recruitment of branch and call center employees to include: job postings, screening/prescreening, skill/behavioral testing, conducts interviews, and performs reference, credit and background checks on qualified applicants.

Analyze appropriate compensation levels for applicants/promotions in order to extend external offers, promotional offers and facilitate transfers. Participate in the grading process for new and reclassified positions.

Assist in the reporting of metrics and recommends changes in recruiting methods as needed.

Supports HR orientation and may serve as a backup for assisting managers in policy interpretation and application.

Represents the Credit Union in the community to promote our organization as a preferred workplace and attract quality applicants. Create and maintain relationships with employment sources, professional organizations, temporary agencies and college/universities.

Makes suggestions for improvements, streamline processes and writes down procedures as it pertains to this position and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Three to five years of similar or related experience.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.

High-volume recruitment experience. Key Experience and Abilities include:

Strong understanding of recruitment principles, methods and practices.

Experience with high-volume recruitment in medium to large organizations.

Strong attention to detail coupled with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while providing exceptional service.

Ability to move quickly and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

Strong communication skills to include verbal and written.

Strong ability to utilize Excel and track ongoing status of positions at all times.

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and a variety of applicant tracking systems.

Experience with giving presentations, answering questions with regard to recruitment and guiding managers through recruitment process.

Experience with UltiPro system a plus.
