JOB SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Total Rewards Supervisor, the Total Rewards Representative isu00a0responsible for greeting and activating playeru2019s Total Rewards card at the lecterns and working the promotion area during entry activation. Must be able to explain and communicate current casino programs and promotions to players. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: u00b7Demonstrate a sense of urgency while performing duties.u00a0 u00b7Creates atmosphere of fun and excitement for guests.u00a0 u00b7Perform back to back procedures when deemed necessary.u00a0 u00b7Be proficient in comps, cash back, voids, new accounts, reprints and redeeming procedures. u00b7Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing business levels and values the differences of others. u00b7Attend department meetings and information sessions.u00a0 u00b7Greets and welcomes customers with a smile as a company representative. u00b7Serves as Total Rewards and customer service role model for other employees. u00b7Understands, values, and supports Total Rewards program and special events, promotions, and player programs. u00b7Constantly seeks ways to improve friendly, helpful service and reduce customer waiting time to positively impact departmentu2019s customer service ratings. u00b7Effectively and enthusiastically communicates the benefits of the customer loyalty program and provides players with a compelling reason to play at Horseshoe every time. u00b7Cross sells property events (shows, promotions, etc.) and amenities (hotels, restaurants, etc.).u00a0 u00b7Ensures each customer interaction results in increased customer confidence in Total Rewards. u00b7Is knowledgeable about competitorsu2019 programs and can make favorable comparisons. u00b7Promotes and executes customer promotions flawlessly.u00a0 u00b7Creates and maintains customer accounts using Horseshoeu2019s computer systems.u00a0 u00b7Issues comp. in accordance with department comp and guidelines.u00a0 u00b7Ensures data is accurate and maintains integrity of data. u00b7Collaborates with work-group and all support departments to ensure player satisfaction. u00b7Communicates all relevant information to co-workers and management to maintain consistency and avoid potential problems. u00b7Ensures integrity and confidentiality of all customer data. Complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED equivalent 1-year Customer Service experience Basic Computer skills (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, etc.) Able to type 35 words per minute Cash Handling Experience Ability to maintain composure and excellent guest elations under all circumstances Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Taking direction from multiple Leads/Supervisors/Managers from multiple areas PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:u00a0 Must be able to move in and around the Casino/Hotel areas and Total Rewards centers through the entire shift. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods. Must be able to keep aware of the constant changes and enhancements of the Total Rewards program and its benefits. Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customers demands in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a desk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Responds to visual and aural cues. Must have manual dexterity to be able to operate the following equipment: computer, telephone, photo copy machine, fax machine, ten key, embosser, printer and bar encoder.
