Our client is a multi-specialty, integrated healthcare organization and they seek a Physician Recruiter

The Physician Recruiter serves as the single point of contact and subject matter expert in the delivery of physician recruitment for the organization. Collaborates with HR staff to ensure house-wide consistency in interpretation, policy application and approach to physician benefit and compensation issues.

Participates in the design and implementation of a physician recruitment and retention programs. Designs, manages and conducts all phases of the provider (physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner) recruitment and retention. Works closely with, establishes and maintains solid working relationships with multiple hiring managers, management and administration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provides guidance to senior physician leadership, medical directors, physicians, management and employees on various human resources issues as they relate to physician recruitment, employment and retention; physician employment agreements; physician/staff relations; compensation; benefits and general Human Resource (HR) operations across functional areas.

Serves as a single point of contact and subject matter expert in the delivery of physician employment and recruitment for the organization by providing local expertise and consultation in strategy development, execution planning, facilitation of physician HR practices, programs and services, as well as, consulting with HR and physician leadership to ensure consistent application and implementation of physician HR strategies, policies and programs.

Under direction of the in house legal team, or designated senior or medical staff leadership, drafts physician employment letters and assists with development of physician employment agreements.

Responsible for ensuring employment agreements and physician contracts are prepared using established policies and procedures and are in line with the company’s organizational objectives and philosophy.

Assists with interpretation and enforcement of existing employment contracts and provides guidance to employees.

Ensure compliance with all local, State, and Federal laws as well as regulatory requirements.

In partnership with senior or medical staff leadership, provides expertise regarding physician compensation issues and participates in salary negotiations, as well as, coordinating the activities related to recruitment and partnering efforts that will foster mutually beneficial relationships between the company, and employed providers. License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; equivalent relevant education/experience

5 years of progressive Human Resources experience to include 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience preferably in physician recruitment to include advertising, sourcing and conducting a search

Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking program experience

Prior experience working with contracts and employment agreements

Demonstrated skills in all facets of full cycle recruitment including but not limited to executive and provider recruitment, employment agreements, compensation analysis, advertising, sourcing and conducting a search including working with a third-party vendor.

Current knowledge of State and Federal employment laws/regulations pertaining to non-discrimination, substance abuse, fraud and abuse and recruiting issues

Ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail while managing multiple complex projects and priorities to successfully meet deadlines • Effective written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of employees, physicians, volunteers and management

: AASPR certification
