Responsible for timely and accurate completion of assigned duties for accomplishment of company-wide Payroll. Verifies receipt of data, seeks out details related to any payroll changes, implements authorized deductions, runs reports, generates uploads as needed to various vendors and or agencies (401K, tax reporting, etc.). Emphasizes employee safety and adherence to Safety Program while carrying out job duties.
Prior experience working with high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.
Preference will be given to Certified Payroll Professional
Knowledgeable of basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen
Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the why
Prior experience using accounting software
Knowledgeable about internal controls
Solid understanding of payroll
Bank reconciliations experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Relevant experience should include 2 years in payroll
Mastery of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
