Role:

The Global Accounts Manager M/F will sell Services and Instruments directly to the PerkinElmer Global Accounts base that spans Life Science, Food and Energy.

Main duties:

* Sell PerkinElmer solutions and related services into a defined set of Global Accounts
* Identify, qualify and close new opportunities: this includes the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through to contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support
* Leverage the PerkinElmer sales model, accounting planning tools and SFDC to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share



Your profile:

* BS/BA or equivalent sales experience with demonstrated understanding of PerkinElmer's industry, customer needs and competitive landscape;
* Ability to develop relationships with procurement, heads of R&D, CIO, and respective Business Unit Operations Executives across Global Accounts;


* Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development with the ability to help PerkinElmer's Global Account Customer Stakeholders position the PerkinElmer solution value proposition to Board Level decision makers.


* Willingness and experience providing Voice-of-the-Customer feedback to Product Management and R&D teams to impact the Solution roadmap.


* Knowledge of big data and how that data can be leveraged in a sales cycle with experience selling to large enterprises ($1B in sales) and/or Cloud and Service Providers;


* Skill Set should include: Sales Methods, ROI/TCO modeling and the complex sale in a multiple product environment. Infrastructure Services and Customer reporting solution knowledge is a plus


* Business development, prospecting and presentation skills, with excellent communication skills and problem solving ability


* Must work well in a team environment, with multiple resources and also be independent, self-motivated, competitive, high powered and polished


* 40-60% global travel is required as well as fluency in English and French (a plus)
