Primary Duties
u2022tAll front-line aspects of the recruiting process including: applications/resumes, assessments, phone interviews, recommendations to hiring managers, and applicant rejections using PeopleMatter applicant tracking system
u2022tMaintain current knowledge of Human Resource requirements including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action guidelines and laws; update Affirmative Action plan and related documents
u2022tPrepare for and perform new employee orientations and process hiring paperwork
u2022tConduct background checks and pre-employment drug-tests
u2022tExplain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and/or job applicants
u2022tInterpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations
u2022tPrepare badges, passes, and identification cards for new employees
u2022tPerform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork
u2022tOther duties as assigned

Success in this position requires
u2022tKnowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, labor law, and personnel information systems, customer and personal service, basic computer and electronic aptitude
u2022tSkills in computer software, verbal communication, patience, problem-solving, active listening and learning, reading comprehension, writing, critical thinking, judgment and decision making, social perceptiveness, service orientation
u2022tThe ability to be accurate, written and oral comprehension, inductive and deductive reasoning
u2022tThe ability to maintain confidentiality
Additional Info Additional Job Requirements * 3-5 years HR experience or HR degree required * Detail oriented * Read and write English * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Job Industries Other
