: the Human Resource intern is responsible for, but not limited to, the following functions: (a) administrative and clerical support to human resources staff; (b) maintaining human resources records and electronic files. (c) preparing documents and written materials under direction of human resources staff. (d) accurately file records and information.

Ability to maintain accurate, standardized electronic and paper filing systems.
Maintain confidential information, data, and files.

Assist with maintaining employee information in HRIS systems.
Assist with annual benefit enrollment.
Ability to report to work on days and times scheduled.
Must be able to communicate using written, oral and electronic means. Competent computer skills and ability to use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma required. Current enrollment in college human resources (or related) degree program.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies. Good written and oral communication skill, with ability to provide requested documents.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must be able to compute rate, ratio and percent; with ability to develop and interpret graphs used for presentations or reports.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied in both written and verbal format. Ability to prioritize HR assignments/projects.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
