Job Description Overview

The Campus Recruiter is responsible for full lifecycle recruiting of Intern and Analyst level talent for Risk Management and Credit Programs . He or she will recruit top talent from universities located across the United States, and is responsible for the identification, development, assessment and hiring of top talent for undergraduate and graduate level hiring. As a partner and trusted advisor to the business, the Recruiter is expected to bring market knowledge to inform talent decisions with a goal of building diverse talent at Key.


Coordinates and facilitates on campus recruiting events including job fairs, association meetings and in person interviews to recruit undergraduate and graduate level students

Leverages online recruiting resources (LinkedIn, Talent Gather, associations, etc.) as one of many methods for identifying and sourcing potential leads

Represents and differentiates KeyBank to external candidates by effectively describing Keys businesses, strategy, culture and values

Understands and effectively utilizes comprehensive knowledge of company benefits, compensation philosophy and structure

Develops long-term relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience

Rigorously interviews and assesses talent; provides client interview preparation and coaching as needed

Collects interviewer feedback and facilitates offer letters

Prioritizes work and sets appropriate expectations with hiring managers, program managers and HR partners

Fully utilizes Keys applicant tracking system and ensures appropriate candidate disposition throughout the lifecycle of the search

Establishes and nurtures close partnerships with program managers, peers and HR partners

Partners with recruiting peers to share talent, market intelligence, and best practice recruiting methodologies

Participates in appropriate department, client and/or Corporate HR meetings, initiatives and

Complies with all Talent Acquisition and broader KeyBank policies, procedures and risk

Candidate Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent recruiting experience required

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a recruiting organization

Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning skills.

Excellent negotiation, sales, relationship management and communication skills

Demonstrates strong influencing skills; is not an order taker

Must possess and exhibit the maturity, poise, polish, presence, intellect, and organizational and communication skills necessary to successfully interact with a variety of individuals including senior hiring managers and external candidates

Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, complex and deadline-oriented environment

Proven self-starter with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, internal and external recruiters, and candidates

Demonstrates drive to deliver results, takes accountability and ownership of work, and proactively strives for continuous improvement

Efficient and resourceful; leverages technology
