The Talent Management Consultant is responsible for understanding Jackson’s business priorities and employee performance requirements, in an effort to design and implement programs to grow Jackson’s leadership capabilities and help drive the success of the Company. Utilizing a behavioral performance focused approach, the Consultant conducts needs assessments that drive talent management programs and processes. The Consultant is responsible for the design, development, facilitation and measurement of assigned programs and processes, ensuring that the objectives of both the programs and business are met.
 
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities



Designs, develops, and facilitates talent management and development programs aligned with meeting the organization’s objectives.

Measures the effectiveness and impact of talent management programs and processes.

Assists with executing the leadership development strategy through a blend of in-person workshops, targeted assignments and development opportunities, 360 feedback, experiential learning, online seminars, eLearning, performance support tools, assessments, and other approaches and resources.

Analyzes data to determine the effectiveness of talent management programs and processes, adjusting content and approach as required.

Assists with assessing business priorities and employee performance based upon identified competencies; plays a key role in recommending and developing solutions as a result.

Works with leaders and associates at all levels, as appropriate, with the goal of driving appropriate human capital development solutions.

May serve as an internal consultant to associates and management on issues related to individual and leader development.

Builds and maintains current industry knowledge in the field of HR, specifically talent management, leadership development and performance management.

Demonstrated ability to conduct a needs analysis, design management/leadership programs and curriculum, develop content, and deliver programs for individuals and teams at various levels, ensuring that the implemented solutions drive associate performance, address the correct root causes, and that the impact to the business is measurable.  

Knowledge and understanding of adult learning theory, cultural considerations, and management and HR practices.

Strong communication skills, demonstrated through impactful meetings, well designed and communicated programs and processes, and delivered presentations.

Strong facilitation skills, ability to leverage participant knowledge and participation to maximize impact.

Ability to think strategically and make decisions based on sound judgement.

Ability to manage multiple projects and processes, organize and prioritize details to meet deadlines.

Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
Education and Experience Required


Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred, with emphasis in business, HR, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

3 or more years talent management experience in assessment, development, delivery, measurement, and performance.

3 years training development/facilitation experience.
