Investing in our people and infrastructure at Pure is key to achieving our long term strategy of becoming a Talent Magnet. This new role will focus on bringing a disciplined Lean Six Sigma approach to advancing excellence in our processes and key performance indicators in Human Resources globally. You will be modernizing, connecting, and where necessary, leap-frogging our way of doing things to enrich our employee experience & increase productivity across our life-cycle processes. Joining our OneHR team, the CHRO and HR leadership team will be the executive sponsors of business excellence in HR and will jointly decide on the priorities and project pipelines. For the first year, Talent Acquisition will be the prioritized area for business excellence. Hence, this role will report into our Director of Talent Acquisition Enablement.

Your impact:

Drive process definitions and improvements across all HR functions (Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Benefits, Mobility, etc.) and with partner systems. The priority in the first year will be Talent Acquisition.

Collaborate with the broader Business Excellence team at Pure to nurture a culture of continuous improvement in the company and in the HR function.

Conduct in-depth analyses (when required), including data collection, data analyses, and synthesis of data to generate key insights for projects or Lean deployment strategies.

Partner with HR Leadership to prioritize all employee life cycle processes & develop a roadmap for process optimization, simplification, governance and productivity.

Partner with People Analytics and HRIS teams to improve downstream systems and data mining activity for operating efficiencies/effectiveness.

Complete HR Process Framework and Library while identifying risks and areas for improvement

Perform business process gap analysis and provide end-state recommendations for optimization

Act as a key driver for change within the teams, aligned to supporting project execution and toll-gating and helping them to learn, understand, adjust and grow with business Lean Six Sigma transformation.

Maintain contact with various groups to understand and anticipate the impacts of changes in up and downstream processes and systems.

Partner with People Analytics and HR IT teams to improve downstream systems and data mining activity for operating efficiencies/effectiveness.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with a mix of remote work and weekly in office work from our headquarters in Mountain View, CA

Lean Six Sigma certification (Master Black Belt is ideal), with HR concentration preferred

At least 7 years of experience in Lean Six Sigma or related continuous improvement areas

Experience in change management, stakeholder management, and influencing people without authority

Experience in building an improvement opportunity pipeline, aligned to strategic goals and delivering results

Experience executing Lean Six Sigma projects and driving results

Experience leading Lean Kaizens and driving results would be an advantage

Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills;

Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, management, and senior leadership

Strong demonstration of a growth mindset, learning agility, and capability to lead teams through ambiguity

Looking at things with a growth mindset from a process improvement perspective

Bring a systems thinking approach, and a mindset to work with cross functional teams, including COEs in HR

Ability to lead with empathy while also creating accountability among partners/others

Motivation to pursue excellence; ability to identify, manage and enable change and instill inspirational leadership

Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
