Work you\u2019ll do The Talent Management Research and Insights\u00a0Manager will be a key player on Bersin\u2019s Research Ideation team, which sets the agenda for Bersin\u2019s research-driven insights. He\/she has broad and deep experience in the talent management space, as well as a keen perspective on the interaction between talent management and other areas of HR. This role has a strong market-facing element, including consultative discussion of Bersin\u2019s insights with Bersin members and Deloitte clients. It requires broad exposure to the vendor landscape within talent management, and an understanding of the trends driving change in that landscape. It also requires internal collaboration with Bersin\u2019s sales and member advisory teams, as well as Deloitte colleagues. Finally, he\/she will work with Bersin\u2019s Research Execution and Content Delivery teams to guide their work in the creation of articles, webinars, infographics, podcasts, and videos relevant to talent management. The ideal candidate for this role thrives on analyzing many sources of input in order to identify patterns. He\/she can pinpoint not only what is most relevant now in the talent management space, but anticipate what HR professionals will need to know tomorrow. Responsibilities: Research Roadmap Contribute to the ongoing development of the research roadmap by identifying leading-edge trends in talent management and beyond, understanding the needs of the member base, collaborating with our sales and product teams, and maintaining alignment with Deloitte priorities. Collaborate across practice areas to address the intersection of talent management and other areas of HR, with a focus on addressing unmet member needs. Client-Facing Activities Promote a personal and company brand that sets our insights apart from our competitors. Demonstrate a polished, credible presence that commands respect from executive audiences within client and vendor organizations. Create and deliver presentations in person and virtually to the general community and to current and prospective clients. Be a capable and confident data-driven storyteller. Respond to complex member queries in-person, on the phone, and via electronic communication. Research Activities Participate in the development of research-based tools for members and to support consulting solutions. Engage in thought leadership in industry forums and via social media and blogs. Other Responsibilities Interface directly with corresponding Deloitte Consulting LLP leadership to align messaging and research roadmaps. Work with the product, marketing, and sales teams to help position products and solutions to prospects and members. Qualifications: BA\/BS in Human Resources, Business, research, or related discipline 5 years of business experience in HR\/talent management or with a related analyst or research firm or consultancy Research background in Human Capital Strategic thinking and business skills, with ability to understand key business drivers that contribute to operational and financial success. Demonstrated desire and drive to be a recognized thought leader within the larger HR\/talent management industry and community. An established network and positive brand are a plus. Highly effective presentation development and delivery skills to internal and external audiences. Comfortable working in a collaborative, virtual environment, providing and accepting continuous feedback and support. Ability to travel up to 70% of time. Preferred: Masters Degree 10 years of business experience in HR\/talent management or with a related analyst or research firm or consultancy.
