This dynamic position is an ambassador for the Human Resources department by serving as a key strategic partner for the Retail Payment Solutions Operations departments in our Fargo Service Center.
Serving as the primary consultant to the management
team on human resource related issues.
Interpreting policies and procedures, providing guidance and recommendations, and advising, counseling, interpreting and administering policies/procedures to ensure consistent application and compliance.
Facilitating various core leadership training programs, making effective presentations, and engaging in complex conversations in a clear and persuasive manner.
Consulting on requests for position reviews, internal reorganizations, compensation and structure changes to include: promotions, equity adjustments, demotions, and reductions in force.
Managing and resolving employee relations issues and legal matters facing the assigned business lines by reviewing and approving corrective actions, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations to respond to employee relations issues, ethics and unemployment claims, the investigation of equal employment opportunity (EEO) and compliance claims, and preparing the responses to the charges or allegations.

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of related human resources experience
A thorough knowledge of Human Resource law, practices and appropriate
procedures in all areas of HR including employee relations, recruitment,
compensation, training and benefits.
Superior critical thinking, customer service, relationship management, verbal,
written and interpersonal communication, process facilitation, project
management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
Exceptional computer skills, using a variety of software packages including
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ability to learn and navigate
through HRIS systems. Prior experience with Peoplesoft and Taleo a plus.
The ability to follow directions, take initiative and work independently with
PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
