ADRIAN DOMINICAN SISTERSPosition Available: Full Time RecruiterSummaryResponsible for the full life cycle recruiting: screening, hiring, testing, onboarding qualified applicants into open positions consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Adrian Dominican Sisters.ResponsibilitiesPartners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.Manages all candidate activity in the current applicant tracking system.(ATS)Facilitates internal job posting procedure and manages internal transfer process.Posts jobs externally as required.Researches and uses nontraditional resources such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events and social media to identify and attract quality candidates.Acts as liaison with temporary staffing agencies and advertising agencies as required.Screens and interviews applicants and forwards qualified candidates to hiring managers as appropriateConducts reference checks and employment verifications.Conducts background checks and coordinates pre-employment drug screens and physicals.Extends written and verbal contingent job offers.Conducts new hire sign up and all orientation programs.Tracks department and campus turnover.Conducts exit interviews with separated co-workers.Reviews and updates job descriptions.Reviews and proposed changes to wage ranges as appropriate.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications A Bachelor's degree concentrating on Human Resource Management or equivalent required. Three to five years of experience in recruiting both exempt and non-exempt positions required. Three to five years experience required utilizing the skills and abilities listed below:Knowledge of current state and federal employment laws.Demonstrated computer knowledge and skills.Ability to make decisions and to be objective.Understanding of, commitment to and ability to verbalize the concept of Partners in Mission.Ability to successfully function in a changing environment.Above average communication skills including verbal, written and listening.Interpersonal relations skills.Maintains a high level of confidentiality. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. At times it is necessary to walk from location to location on campus. Must be able to work at least 8 hours per day.Position requires individual to be flexible to change, working hours and various job responsibilities, as well as deal with a variety of personalities in a tactful and professional manner.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
