Profile

Overview
Develop, communicate and lead the vision, strategy and execution of BusinessCare Integration (BCI) training and development for BCI, division, function and operational unit employees, within the assigned region, in alignment with BCI, divisions overall company priorities.
Ensure BCI training and development programs within assigned region are efficient, effective and compliant in meeting the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders, and communicate those needs to leadership.
Responsibilities
Work closely with leaders within BCI, the divisions, and company function and operational units to understand BCI related training and development needs within assigned region; develop, implement and ensure consistency in priorities, programs, processes, and structure.
 
Develop and deliver BCI training programs related to commercial business, such as business acumen, contracting, working with IDN\u2019s and GPO\u2019s, and other areas as identified.
 
Responsible to develop and deliver training for general job related competencies for Account Executives.
 
Collaborate with division training teams to provide relevant product knowledge training to Account Executive teams.
 
Collaborate with BCI leadership and HR to develop and implement an employee development program for BCI employees.
 
Interact with Talent Development, HR and other internal training departments in developing and maintaining a repository of training.
 
Support the structure for internal education and professional development to allow for global direction and alignment across divisions, functions and operational units, while accommodating for local and regional regulations and needs.
 
Collaborate with division training teams to create, standardize, and implement processes to ensure consistent best practices for documentation, training content, and training delivery.
 
Collaborate with subject-matter experts and management to provide expertise in curriculum design, content and setting of learning objectives.
 
Coordinate all activities and logistics related to the planning, development and delivery of BCI training programs.
 
Use various instructional methods to deliver content, including lecture, demonstrations, small group activities, videos and other methodologies as appropriate.
 
Analyze and report data/metrics to management regarding training effectiveness.
 
Demonstrate clear understanding of and adherence to compliance and legal standards and regulatory processes relative to technical and procedural education delivery and materials.
 
Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.
 
Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product-specific requirements are met.
 
Qualifications
Required Experience:
College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
Prior experience in a customer facing contracting or supply chain role within the medical device industry, or prior experience leading training program(s) in a medium to large size company.  
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge in adult learning theories including assessments and competency based trainings.
Demonstrate strong strategic business skills.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Extensive experience in a clinical or sales training environment.
Prior experience leading organizational change.
Knowledge in training documentation systems/methods.
Model the company standards that others are expected to follow.
Demonstrate positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving market objectives.
 
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Ability to travel domestic and weekends as needed up to 75%.
Work under general office environmental conditions.
