Provides administrative support to HR and Recruiting functions. Ensure all employee record keeping, paper and electronic, is accurate and timely and in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. Maintains applicant flow data for AAP.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with maintaining HRIS and hard copy personnel files.
Assist with on-boarding and terminations of employees including processing required documents through HRIS, payroll, and insurance providers.
Assist with recruiting duties and maintenance of applicant data.
Assist with screening resumes and forwarding to appropriate hiring manager and or HR Representatives.
Assist with conducting reference checks on applicants
Assist with job postings.
Assist with preparing offer letters in conjunction with HR Representatives.
May attend recruiting events including, but not limited to, external job fair(s), on-site job fair(s), and college recruiting events.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
Must be proficient in MS Office software and possess working knowledge of HRIS.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
Superior written and verbal skills and ability to prepare written and oral presentations.
Familiarity with COBRA, FMLA, ERISA, EEOC, and other federal and state regulations and laws.
Good spelling, punctuation, grammar and attention to details a must.
Education: High School Diploma while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related discipline
