Job Overview: The HR Process Improvement Coordinator will facilitate automation of HR solutions for business improvement. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving AskHR/MyHR systems issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Functions: • Troubleshoot all systems issues and communicate to HRMs as needed. • Partner with Macy's Inc. team to identify best practices for case resolution. • Test and development of new HR applications and objectives that operate in a cost-effective manner. • Secure approval on specifications and project completion as appropriate. • Coordinate the roll out of any HR systems enhancements. • Provide technical coordination and guidance to HR teams. • Partner with HR Process Improvement Analyst to drive and build automated HR processes. • Maintain appropriate expertise to ensure effective service level. • Liaise with the HR Support team as needed. • Special projects as needed. • Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality. Qualifications: Education/Experience: • BA or BS degree preferred. • Broad human resources experience. • Knowledge of Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, Kronos or Automate is considered a plus. Communication Skills: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals. • Ability to write procedural guides and training alerts. • Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels in an open and responsive manner. Mathematical Skills: • Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Reasoning Ability: • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Demands: • This position involves regular walking, standing, hearing, talking. • May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. • Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Other Skills: • Must be a team player who is professional, passionate, and dedicated. • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, create timelines, and meet project deadlines. • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while being flexible to change. • High level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality. • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including: Excel, Word, and MS-Access.
