In this newly created role, you will deliver full-cycle recruitment and partner on our recruitment strategies and processes working closely with the HR teams, HR Leaders, system and hospital leaders. Scope:

Responsible for sourcing, recruiting, retaining, interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for positions in hospital. Collaborates with hiring managers in interviews and hiring selection decisions, and engages in offer management discussions with candidates. Supports the development of recruitment initiatives to achieve and sustain workforce excellence.

Serves as member of the Recruitment organization, and contributes to the development of Recruitment programs, processes, tools and techniques. May travel on regular basis for sourcing, recruiting, and to multiple MedStar locations for business and recruitment activities. Reliable transportation required. Capacity for overnight travel and excellent dependability and reliability required.

What you can expect to do routinely.

Sources passive and active candidates, builds a proactive pipeline of candidates.

Assess and prioritize candidates.

Conduct interviews and provide screening tests for all program participants. Maintain documentation on interview and test results. Refer appropriate candidate to the training representative, or hiring manager, for final consideration. Performs appropriate candidate disposition to communicate and maintain ATS.

Contribute to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards. Comply with governmental and accreditation regulations.

Counsel hiring manager with respect to interview process, techniques and documentation, selection, candidate qualifications, employment trends and compensation.

Extend verbal and written job offers, and negotiates compensation packages with candidates.

Facilitate hiring planning process. Drive the applicant-tracking system to dispatch candidates, communicate with hiring leaders, and batch candidate disposition and notification. Assist new leaders to orient to system.

Participates in execution of recruitment initiatives.

Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams as appropriate. Participates in meetings, serves on committees and represents the department and hospital/facility in community outreach efforts as appropriate.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Supports Hiring Manager in selection.

Tracks and meets time to fill metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.

Candidates with bachelors degree and experience requirements preferred.

EXPERIENCE

: Minimum of 3 years experience in Human Resources, with a focus in recruiting. Deep experience with Hiring Management systems/tools required. Experience tracking, reporting, and meeting metrics.

Proven track record of effective support, nurse

, allied, professional and leadership recruitment; and proven ability to work with all levels of leadership.

Experience developing, auditing, and publishing analytics to build momentum, focus efforts, and manage change leveraging talent scorecard that aligns key talent metrics to business objectives.

Demonstrates financial acumen i.e., an understanding of the language and thought processes used in making strategic business decisions.

Proficiency in Boolean, Deep Internet, and Social Media Recruiting preferred.

LICENSE/CERT/REG:

PHR or similar certification including AIRS preferred.

SKILLS

: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, inside and outside the organization, to accomplish objectives to build and maintain mutually-beneficial partnerships, leverage information, and achieve results. Demonstrated ability to design, implement and manage multiple or ongoing programs/projects, and direct the related resources, personnel and activities coordination.
