About the Role
Our Sr. Executive Sourcer will work on the some of the most highest profile executive searches across our company. This person will join a team of hard-charging and results-oriented researchers to identify and attract the worlds most innovative leaders across a number of disciplines at Uber. S/he will partner with our Executive Recruiters to drive research strategy, talent mapping, candidate identification, engagement, assessment and talent management for our highest profile searches.
What You’ll Do
Partner with the Executive Recruiter to help drive the search execution process from start to finish.
Create and own the search strategy as well as mapping of the relevant industries, companies, and candidates.
Curate talent for succession planning and proactively build relationships with high potential, transformational leaders across a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences who may be right for Uber in the future.
Lead early stage candidate engagement through initial outreach, pitching Uber and the role, and in-depth assessment of the candidates experiences and career motivations.
Create job specifications, assessments, scorecards and other supporting documentation, in collaboration with the recruiter.
Participate in weekly meetings with the hiring manager to present new candidates and gather feedback on those in pipeline or to adjust search strategy if needed.
Keep track of all aspects of a search and record findings upon closing to continue to grow and update database.
Bring efficiency to all searches and apply process where needed ensuring highest quality every step of the way.
Create or update current processes in order to continue to evolve our sourcing and research function.
Lend subject matter expertise to help elevate search results particularly related to current projects and themes. This involves identifying and tracking the most important companies relevant to our space.
Maintain, improve and regularly update our database with new additions to create a databank of technology, competitor and peer clients/ talent.
Will track and research industry trends.
What You’ll Need
Minimum of 10 years of senior recruiting, sourcing, HR experience
Minimum of 5 years of Executive Search experience, preferably with a combination of top tier executive search and in-house leadership sourcing experience.
Prior experience in high-growth technology firm is a viewed as a strong plus.
Strong analytical mindset and extremely detail-oriented.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, energetic, can-do attitude in a fast-moving environment. Comfortable with driving and influencing change, and changing priorities as needed.
High business acumen & strong communication skills, written and verbal; the ability to present data and its implications in a clear, concise manner.
Will be a self-starter but team-oriented.
