The Human Resources Business
Partner (HRBP) serves as an integral business partner on the Colleague
Relations and Compliance team.  The HRBP
will provide front-line HR support, deliver people related programs and
initiatives, provide strategic direction and consultative counsel and manage
employee relations investigations.   The HRBP
is responsible for collaborating closely with other HR Business Partners and
Advisors to understand business needs and priorities in order to ensure that HR
talent delivery needs are effectively and efficiently met within the
business.  This role is also responsible
for collaborating with the broader People & Community operational and functional
areas  to design and deliver on a
high-performing, business-aligned people agenda.  The HRBP is also responsible for providing
distinctive client service to employees and partners within the service line
and leading complex employee relations investigations towards outcomes that
align with firm culture, values and DE&I initiatives. 


The HRBP works with various Leaders
and the broader Colleague Relations & Compliance team to address colleague development
needs..  The HRBP is responsible for
“high touch” people experiences, such as performance management, retention
practices, employee relations issues, and general talent programs for the service
line.   This role is critical in
executing colleague initiatives, providing exceptional internal support, and
driving a high-performance culture within our People & Community team and
our Firm.


The HRBP  role serves as a key member of the People
& Community team in the support of firm-wide goals and objectives.  This role will report to the HR Team Lead
with a dotted line to the HRBP Lead.


Core Responsibilities:

Delivery of people related programs and initiatives
to the service line using a client service mindset

Collaborate with the broader P&C team to ensure
a consistent and comprehensive delivery experience nationally

Drive the execution and delivery experience

Strategically partner with business leaders to
identify and address pain points using HR fundamentals

Serve as primary investigator for highly complex
and sensitive employee relations matters within various service lines and
drives towards successful outcomes that align with firm culture, values and
DE&I.  Provide support and
partnership to other HRBPs in managing high volume employee relations matters.

Works with Partners/Principals and business leaders
in identifying opportunities to mitigate risk and drive strategic outcomes that
align with firm culture, values and DE&I initiatives.

Become knowledgeable
and supportive of the strategy of the firm, service line practices, and the
business priorities.

knowledge of key Government Contracting compliance matters in
consultation with leaders and when addressing employee relations matters

Recognize potential employee relations issues in a proactive manner and resolves the
issue and/or escalate the concern to leadership

Conduct initial investigation of HR/ER issues

Mediate difficult interactions, handling
disciplinary, grievance matters, and policy violations with minimal supervision

Serve as HR Subject Matter expert to Firm managers
& partners, applying compliance knowledge to protect organization

Provide guidance to managers/partners regarding
HR/Firm policies.  Ensures that required
documentation in in place to support personnel actions through ongoing consult
with leadership via the performance management process.

Use data
and metrics to make critical decisions; identify patterns and reports finding
& trends as appropriate

interacts with service line and regional Partners/Principals and functional
leaders to strategically identify HR/Talent goals and objectives to ensure they
are consistent with the business goals of the firm/service line.

the execution of the firm strategy by co-designing and implementing a
business-aligned people agenda that delivers measurable value to the business
and an exceptional experience to colleagues of the firm.

national HR policies, procedures, and practices and ensures they are
implemented successfully at all levels.

the service line execution of all general HR programs including the
following: performance management, training, employment law compliance,
compensation administration,  employee
relations, and retention strategy.

Oversees HR
risk management issues, conducts investigations of workplace policy violations.

mentors, and coaches service line/office/HR/Talent staff.','!*!Qualifications (Personal Characteristics, Skills/Abilities,
ideal candidate will be:A
business-minded people leader with several years of increasingly responsible
HR/Talent positions with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture that is
collaborative, client service-oriented, and consultative.  A functional HR/Talent specialist who delivers
services with a pragmatic approach to business partnership and operations.An ability to work with highly confidential, complex
and sensitive HR/employee relations matter in an objective manner while using
the lens of the firm’s culture, values and DE&I perspective. A natural coach and mentor with engaging and
approachable personality.  Will have experience
working successfully with all levels of staff, from front-line through senior
executive.Experience in prioritization and negotiation with demonstrated ability to be effective in supporting multiple
business leaders/partners working across different business areas of focus.Highly collaborative and action-oriented, with strong
influencing skills; someone who is a change agent who can build collaborative
relationships across a matrixed organization.Confident with strong personal initiative as someone
who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job
done.Operationally focused with ability to think
strategically and deliver tactically.Metrics-focused with ability and history of critical
thinking and using analytics to solve problems and develop solutions. The
Ideal Candidate Will Possess: Bachelor’s degree5-7 years of Human Resources and Employee Relations
manager experience with exposure to a Government Contracting environment
preferred.Prior experience managing and resolving multiple
complex, sensitive and confidential employee relations investigations,
including investigation documentation, advising leaders on appropriate
resolutions, working with in-house legal counsel, and driving towards outcomes.PHR or SPHR certification and prior HR/Talent consulting experience
preferredExposure to key Government Contracting compliance matters to include
Security Clearance concepts, Federal Acquisition Regulations and DCAA
complianceDemonstrated experience in implementing HR/Talent strategies.Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing detailed HR/Talent
business processes.Strong verbal and written communication &
presentation skills.A reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment,
responsiveness, strong attention to detail and quality and common sense.Past experience functioning as an HRBP, ideally in a
matrixed environment within a services industry.Experience in managing, mentoring and developing a team of HR/Talent
practitioners Solid PC skills with proficiency in MS Office.
