\u003cp\u003eEnsures efficient and accurate processing of payroll information and administration of the payroll function in accordance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, as well as Company policy. Responsible for assisting other employees and management with payroll- as well as HR-related questions and problems.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e: \u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cli\u003eActs as the key payroll/HRIS resource to accounting, and other internal and external customers and responds to all payroll related questions and employment verifications\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eManages time and attendance system and ensures the accuracy of pertaining data for payroll processing\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProcesses garnishments and other notices on a timely basis\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssists personnel with payroll questions and problems\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eCompiles payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and employee identification number, from timesheets and other records for payroll processing.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eUpdates and maintains personnel records on daily employee attendance, department transfers, address changes, job and safety performance notices, and/or other employee-related issues in an accurate and timely manner.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePrepares computer input forms, enters data into computer files, or computes wages and deductions and posts to payroll records. Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eRecords changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProvides assistance to employees and management in HR-related matters\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eParticipates in Benefit Annual Enrollment process\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eCompiles updates and generates department reports.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePerforms other work related functions such as administration of recognition program, security system, as needed\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eParticipates in continuous improvement teams, as needed or requested.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssist in SRMP as needed.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePerforms other duties of a similar nature or level, as needed or requested.\u003c/li\u003e

\u003cp\u003eAssociate degree or two year technical training, with a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e3-5 year experience in Payroll\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLANGUAGE SKILLS:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003eAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors or employees of the organization.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/p\u003e
