The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports professional hiring and recruiting activities for Mohawk Flooring and Corporate. This role is responsible for scheduling interviews, conducting pre-employment screening and onboarding new hires. This role also provides guidance and training to Hiring Managers and backs up recruiters when they are out of the office.
Back-up and support Recruiters
Post open positions in iCIMS applicant tracking system
Screen applications and exercise judgment to ensure they meet job requirements
Schedule qualified candidates for interviews with hiring managers
Schedule and conduct pre-employment screens and assessments
Ensure candidate completes all new hire forms
Conduct drug screen and background checks for new hires
Complete all systems work required to process a hire
Partner with HR to ensure new hire files are completed
Represent Mohawk in the community at job fairs
Build relationships with local Department of Labor, Veteran, Minority, Female and Disability organizations
Perform general administrative duties, answer phones, assist candidates that visit the office and make a positive first impression of Mohawk
Other duties as assigned by manager
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in HR-related field preferred
Must have previous experience in Recruiting or HR or Bachelor\u2019s Degree in HR, Business or related field
Must be able to deal with a diverse group of all levels of management both internally and externally
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload
Ability to interpret company policies
Knowledge of a variety of computer software application in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation experience
Demonstrated knowledge and use of standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through 2-3 years related experience
General administrative duties, other duties as needed
Excellent computer skills; written, verbal and presentation
Ability to multi-task, follow up, meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
An outward and inward display of professional decorum, tact, and integrity
Ability to work effectively independently and with team members and HR partners
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
