Benefits Leave Specialist, Human Resources Operations

Functional Overview:

Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for an

Analyst Benefits

to join our Global Human Resources organization. This position provides deep functional expertise to support the delivery of Benefits (i.e. leave/worker’s compensation), including responding to escalated inquiries or data management cases. Position delivers the strategy designed by the Benefits Center of Excellence (CoE) through the execution of activities requiring deep functional knowledge. The position also performs vendor management activities for benefits administration vendors, including issue resolution and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) monitoring.

Job Responsibilities:

Resolve issues requiring deep functional expertise escalated from the service center in terms of Worker’s Compensation, Leave of Absence & American with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Provide project management associated with Worker’s Compensation, Leave of Absence, and American with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Interface with benefits vendors and administration outsourcers regarding individual Employee claims/cases

Provide feedback and recommendations regarding the impact of benefit changes on Human Resource Operations (HR Ops) operations and systems

Perform benefits-related Leave of Absence and Worker’s Compensation processing

Review audit reports ensuring appropriate payroll deductions for Leave of Absence

Provide and compile benefit data for provider reporting, operational reporting, benefit forecasting, and benefits planning

Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures, and technologies

Support the Benefits Center of Excellence (CoE) in implementing benefits strategy related to Leave of Absence and Worker’s Compensation

Develop reports of the cost analysis of implementing specific benefits plans in comparison to the competitive landscape

Liaise with external vendors, and internal Legal teams to finalize contract and Statement of Work (SOW) requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

3 years of experience in Human Resources

1 years of experience with administration of Leave of Absence policies including Family

and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Disability, and Worker’s Compensation

Preferred Qualifications:
