Manager, Employee Relations: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family
Supports the organization's overall business strategy through effective management of human resources. Activities include policy and program development, talent management, compensation, benefits, training and development, employee relations, and health and safety. Interpret and administer various human resources programs such as—compensation, human resources planning, employee relations, benefits, hourly employment, equal employment planning, training, or labor relations.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Supervise staff engaged in administering employee relations programs
Coordinate employee relations programs to ensure compliance with policies and practices
Develop and implement policies and procedures, including grievance procedures and development and performance plan toolsets.
Research and respond to employee questions, concerns and grievances
Maintain employee relations records
Provide employees with support and guidance to address their concerns in areas including teamwork, communication, and leadership among others.
Support managers (including DMs, Regionals, Store Managers) with associate development by providing guidance on coaching, counseling, and performance management.
Conduct internal investigations on workplace situations and prepares all required documentation with a focus on issue resolution within assigned region/area.
Partner with managers on the development of corrective action and implementation of performance improvement plans
Provide reporting and recommendations to aligned HR Business Partner
Prepare and distribute data analytics on a regular basis to appropriate corporate partners.
Assists with drafting, updating and maintaining VF policies and provides coaching and performance recommendations in alignment with them.
Provide leadership, coaching and training for ER Partner.
Skills for Success:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related fields
Generally five years of progressive experience with one year of managerial experience
Strong organization and communication skills.
