Department: Human Resources Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day Shift Hours: Job Details: General Summary Provides human resources consultation and support to business units assigned. As a strategic business partner, the individual is expected to have a variety of knowledge, including staffing, onboarding, benefits and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to directors, managers and employees. The HR Business Partner assesses and anticipates HR-related needs in the organization and communicates needs proactively to the Director of Human Resources proposing and developing integrated solutions. Principal Duties and Responsibilities 1.Assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic human resources programs which are consistent with the mission, values and goals of Franciscan Children's. 2.Manages full cycle recruitment process for assigned areas, including: sourcing, candidate development and interviewing for both exempt and non-exempt positions, recommending candidates for hire to department heads and hiring managers.Updates and maintains hiring and recruitment procedures.Coaches and trains managers on interview techniques and best practices.Build a network and pipeline for future opportunities.Utilizes social networking, applicant tracking system, internet searches and professional networks. 3.Focuses on positive new employee experiences by coordinating onboarding activities with key departments to ensure a smooth transition.Continually assesses orientation and onboarding programs and processes, providing recommendations for improvement. 4.Maintains and promotes a positive and professional work environment within the company and within Human Resources and to promote a high level of integrity within Human Resources to the company. 5.Provides HR Policy guidance and counseling\/coaching to employees at all levels. 6.May be involved in administering employee benefits, including workers' compensation and leaves of absence. 7.Conducts stay and exit interviews. 8.Oversees HR record maintenance and participate in compliance audits. Protects FC's value by keeping information confidential. 9.Ensures that personnel files and I-9 forms are maintained in a compliant manner. 10.Collaborates with Director of Human Resources and Senior HR Generalist to manage and resolves complex employee relations issues. 11.Provides consultative services at all levels within the organization by effectively coaching and supporting staff and managers through various situations, interprets policies and appropriate application, with awareness of impact and liability.Conducts investigations where appropriate and handle unemployment claims. 12.Promotes a positive work culture and safe work environment. 13.Supports HR Director in any other projects assigned. Knowledge, Experience and Skills \u20224 year degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or other related field or equivalent work experience \u2022Minimum of 2 years HR experience or related field\u00a0 \u2022Experience in full cycle recruitment preferred; experience recruiting for Medical and Clinical positions in a Hospital setting preferred \u2022Experience with HRIS systems, familiarity with Kronos system preferred
