Job Description : This position will provide HR Business Partner (HRBP) support to the Marine Corps System (MCS) market segment of Sikorsky Aircraft as well as the Business Performance (BP) function at Sikorsky Aircraft. MCS has responsibility for the program execution for all Marine Corps programs (CH-53K, VH-92A, 53E PBL and VH SPAR). This market segment is responsible for >$1B in annual revenue. This position will be based in Stratford, CT. The selected candidate will partner with MCS and BP Leaders to align HR objectives and initiatives to business strategy. Additionally, he/she will effectively manage and execute HR processes, including talent acquisition and development, Leadership Development/Succession Planning, Performance Management, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, salary planning, and incentive compensation planning as well as managing and tracking compliance against deadlines for the MCS and BP organizations.. Responsibilities:The HRBP for MCS and BP will be responsible for developing and implementing the Human Capital strategy and initiatives to ensure talent and organizational capability as well as capacity are aligned to support the business needs. In this role, the HRBP is expected to be a strategic business partner to the Vice President of MCS and Director of BP and staff. The HRBP will be expected to help lead the development of innovative Human Capital solutions to address complex business issues including but not limited to large scale change initiatives, business growth, staffing up or down cycles, business integration, executive talent development, coaching for business outcomes, organizational design, and strategic decision making. He/she must possess very strong business and financial acumen in order to develop and execute the necessary human capital strategies. The HRBP must know the talent within the organization and develop talent management strategies to ensure key talent is placed in key roles and that the organization has the appropriate bench strength. Ability to demonstrate the following attributes: Exhibits emotional intelligence and executive presence and is experienced in navigating through complexity. The HRBP will partner with BP leadership to manage the Program Management Rotational Program [PMRP] and will be responsible for staffing, talent development and role selection.Specific duties include:-Use metrics/analytics to drive performance-Support workforce planning/Leading and facilitating change initiatives-Partner with Talent Acquisition in recruiting initiatives-Champion effective utilization of perf mgmt/improvement -Partner with exec leadership to drive organizational improvements-Provide HRBP expertise/insight to talent/succession planning -Champion employee engagement, retention and diversity and inclusion-Be an employee advocate-Provide HR insight to program leadership selectionsBasic QualificationsBasic Qualifications- Prior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) or Center of Excellence (COE) functional experience. - Knowledge of human resource practices and policies, and applicable state and federal laws - Demonstrated ability to handle proprietary and confidential material appropriately- Experience supporting executive level clients.Desired skills- Well-developed decision-making, prioritization, and problem solving skills - Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills across all levels of the organization - Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills - Ability to foster change and promote and implement improvement - Effectively work in a matrixed organization - Strong organizational and time-management skills -Demonstrate successful management of multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.As a leading technology innovation company, Lockheed Martin's vast team works with partners around the world to bring proven performance to our customers' toughest challenges.
