Job Description Job Summary The Compensation Analyst supports the organization\u2019s Business Practices from a compensation perspective, as well as provides support on Epsilon\u2019s programs and processes that align with the company\u2019s pay strategy. As a pay for performance organization, the Compensation Analyst will ensure that Epsilon employees are being compensated at a competitive level through job evaluation\/analysis, are aligned with the similar jobs in the market, and recommend pay decisions that support our overall strategy and compensation philosophy. The Compensation Analyst will also have an active role in annual processes such as the merit\/rewards cycle, will participate in salary surveys, provide job evaluation support, including FLSA\/DOL recommendations as needed. This role will play an integral part of the team in providing day-to-day support. Administration of the business unit recognitions programs, and will support project activities as assigned. Essential Job Functions: \u2022 Compensation resource for Epsilon\u2019s Practices including, but not limited to, job evaluation\/analysis, creation or modification of job descriptions, determine appropriate salary grades (or market rates) for jobs based on market driven guidelines, FLSA testing of roles, variable pay review\/analysis, and cultivate partnerships with managers to understand and support their business. \u2022 Data Analysis and project work is critical in this position. The Compensation Analyst must be able to work with large reports to summarize data, organize information in a concise, presentation-type format, and speak to management on conclusions of analysis, and resulting recommendations (both written and verbal). Assigned projects will require a thorough analysis of data (i.e. the annual submission of job matches for Epsilon\u2019s salary surveys). \u2022 Recommend, implement, and administer compensation policies for annual processes and programs. In preparation of and during Epsilon\u2019s annual merit\/rewards cycle, the Compensation Analyst will continuously monitor the recommendations of Epsilon\u2019s managers for accuracy and completion of rewards. This role will manage the data during the merit cycle, and must be prepared to present the results of the process, and suggest any process improvements based on the project success and best practices. \u2022 Contact and primary resource for Epsilon Practice\u2019s recognitions programs, and the overall Achievers platform. The Compensation Analyst will partner with the HR teams to create and modify programs as requested. In addition, the Analyst will handle the administration of the site, and monitor\/respond to requests from the Epsilon population regarding point distribution and reporting. This role is also the primary contact for our vendor to consider program enhancements, request relevant reporting, and develop processes to ensure smooth delivery of the content of the platform for our associates. \u2022 Consistent evaluation of domestic and international salary structure (including pay grades and ranges) and compensation policies; recommends changes based on salary survey data and internal equity. May also prepare special studies and\/or recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, or equity analysis. \u2022 Ad Hoc Projects and Reporting \u2013 Generate reports as requested using data from HRIS system downloads. Assist in the generation of the report and subsequent analyses, - i.e. salary increase\/adjustment reports, out-of-range summaries, exemption changets, or other compensation-related requests. Results may require preparation of data files to upload to the HRIS system. \u2022 Assist in the development of materials for presentation of compensation information to senior management, including training decks for compensation program roll-outs. \u2022 Travel may be required on occasion Experience: \u2022 1-2 years directly related work experience \u2022 Previous experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment ( 5,000) providing analytic consulting, process design, program execution and support as it pertains to compensation. \u2022 Demonstrated experience with multi-tasking and working with multiple functional areas. Strong communication skills are necessary along with the ability to coordinate\/communicate with senior level leadership. \u2022 Proficient in Excel, and experience with the Office 365 application, the Microsoft Office Suite tools, and prior knowledge of HR systems a plus. \u2022 Ability to function and execute within a fast pace and fluid environment while maintaining service levels and achieving defined goals. \u2022 Excellent communication and presentation skills \u2022 Strong leadership and motivational skills \u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills \u2022 Business Acumen \u2022 Advance knowledge of Excel Education Requirements: \u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree Preferred \u2022 ITIL v.3 Cert a plus Conditions of Employment All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of certain background checks which unless prohibited by applicable law may include criminal history checks, employment verification, education verification, drug screens, credit checks, DMV checks (for driving positions only) and fingerprinting.
