Job Description

The Federal Savings Bank is seeking an ambitious, hungry (for success, of course!) Recruiting and Sales Coordinator to help grow our team of top-producing Loan Originators and Sales Managers in Chicago, IL. The Coordinator is expected to work in the Bank's Chicago West Loop office and after 12-14 months transition into a Mortgage Banking or Assistant Mortgage Banking role. Desire for professional growth in sales and general interest in financial services is a MUST to succeed in this position.  The Recruiting and Sales Coordinator position is new to the The Federal Savings Bank and is designed as a stepping stone to becoming a successful Mortgage Banker/Loan Officer.    Job Duties and Expectations:

Cold-Call potential candidates (primarily Mortgage Bankers/Loan Officers) and coordinate phone calls and face-to-face meetings for Division Directors and Senior Vice Presidents

100 Outbound calls and emails to Mortgage Bankers are expected daily
Create and cultivate relationships with qualified mortgage and sales professionals

Source new candidates through self-generated efforts

Recruit top talent in the mortgage marketplace through sourcing and networking

Solicit referrals from company employees and lender representatives

Attend & represent the company at Real Estate and Mortgage networking events

Maintain CRM candidate database

Track candidate progress and pipeline activity through Excel tracker and CRM

Report recruiting pipeline and new hire updates to Division Director and Recruiting Manager 

Support Division Director's Executive Assistant and Transition Coordinator with onboarding New Hires. 

Work with Sales Managers, Recruiting Team, On- Boarding Manager, and Payroll & Benefits to ensure  new hires have smooth transitions

Request and manage confidential information for candidates and sales managers

Conduct Credit Checks on candidates and screen for delinquencies, public records, and other derogatory marks on credit history

As a Recruiting and Sales Coordinator with The Federal Savings Bank, your primary mission will be to coordinate and implement all active and passive recruiting initiatives in our search for new Mortgage Bankers. Your professional business acumen coupled with superior communication skills and tireless work ethic will be critical to your success as you make 100  outbound cold calls daily, network with passive candidates and as you follow-up on candidates and other leads in process.
Meticulous attention to detail is critical as you will schedule multiple in-person interviews each week by contacting passive leads that you solicit utilizing creative sourcing and sales techniques. Your web-savvy and networking skills, such as social media, paired with an ability to act independently, will help ensure your success in meeting your goals.

Base salary $30-32k plus monthly bonus plan - 40k earning potential as a Coordinator and 100k after transition into a Mortgage Banking

Job Requirements

1 year of Recruiting, Inside Sales, Food and Beverage, or Retail experience strongly preferred

4 year degree or military experience

Must reside in or near Chicago and commute to West Loop Office daily

Impeccable phone and email etiquette

Sales-Minded: Able to “pound the phones” and cold-call potential passive candidates

Strong Organizational Skills for Candidate tracking and coordinating calendars

Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Outlook are used daily)

Experience managing a CRM database and/or Applicant Tracking Software preferred

Experience with lead generation or candidate sourcing through the following channels:

o LinkedIn (Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter preferred)
o CareerBuilder and other Job Search engines
o Competitor Websites and public databases
o Employee Referrals
o Networking events or Career Fairs

Experience managing and communicating confidential personal information in a secure and professional manner

Favorable credit standing
