Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Be a resource to teammates and managers on company policies, practices, and regulations. Maintain ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Responsible for New Hire Orientation, on-boarding, exit interviews, off-boarding, benefit plans (life, health, dental, and disability insurance, 401K plans), vacation, leave of absence, and unemployment.
Collaborate with Immigration attorneys and HR Director on a variety of employment-based visa matters during its entirety to ensure timely completion.
Ensure compliance and maintain Human Resource Information Payroll System.
Partner with the HR Director to provide guidance regarding employee relations concerns.
Implement and manage large scale initiatives (i.e., annual performance review process, employee engagement survey, Benefits, new programs/policies, etc.).
Contributing and leading projects to streamline our processes, enhance employee engagement and learning and development activities.
Additional tasks and project assigned by the HR team.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources or related field. HR Certification is desirable.
3 years of experience as an HR Generalist and 2 years of experience an an HR Coordinator, or combined relevant experience.
Employment based immigration knowledge or experience.
Project management skills with comprehensive tact and discretion.
Effective influencer and a well-thought team collaborator with excellent ability to communicate (written and verbal).
Success in managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast pace and constantly changing environment.
Experience with human resources practices and disciplines including performance management, talent strategies, employee relations, compensation and benefits.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
