CRH's Americas Materials Division is the leading vertically integrated supplier of aggregates, cement, asphalt, readymixed concrete and paving and construction services in North America.  Our operations span North America with 24,100 employees at close to 1,300 locations in 44 US States and 6 Canadian provinces.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Completes new hire process into HR systems, including other movements, such as transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.
Responsible for a variety of additional employee data entries and updates, adjusting/updating/maintaining employee data in HR systems, must be able to handle a large workload and meet deadlines.
Responsible for collecting any outstanding employee forms or other documentation as required.
Compose correspondence, create and maintain spreadsheets to provide current and concise information that is easily accessible to the human resources department in areas of assigned responsibility.
Must have high attention to detail, to ensure data integrity and spot/report any potential data errors, and rectify in a timely manner.
Responsible for analyzing and working with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and analysis trends. Ability to review data and find conclusion and present recommendations.
Ability to present analytical findings, or translate the data into an understandable document. Effectively able to write and speak clearly, communicating complex ideas.
Ensures data quality with measured review, audits and close eye for information that is received and entered into the systems.
Performs group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and researches/reports on any data discrepancies.
Delivers routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and responds to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests.
Conducts data analysis on HR data such as compensation, classification, employment, employee relations, and/or benefits data as directed.
Prepares reports, graphs, charts and statistics in support of human resources operations.
Will use Excel to create, manipulate and provide various levels of reporting.
Coordinates, schedules and tracks progress of specialized work projects or departmental functions.
Role will contribute to process improvement across the business.
Responsible for all training input into the HRIS systems; tracking and timely entry expected.
Provides support and back-up to Human Resource Department as needed.
Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required. 
Other duties as may be assigned. 
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in human resources or business management related field.
3-5 years in a HRIS specialist role or related position.
Work Requirements
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio 
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or senior leaders with other duties as required.
Possess a high level of integrity and utilizes discretion in handling confidential material.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
Must be 18 years in age or older.
Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Report to the office dressed appropriately and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
Experience building partnerships and fostering trust with cross functional team members
Possess a high level of integrity and utilizes discretion in handling confidential material.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work with Management
Knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resource administration in assigned area.
Knowledge of human resource information systems (HRIS).
Knowledge of database maintenance basic concepts.
Skill in performing accurate data entry.
High standard of ethics, integrity, and trust.   
Strong problem solving skills preferred.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to perform under deadline pressure.
Ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, talk and hear.
Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee is frequently required to sit, and use hands.
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Work Environment
Standard office environment.
Tempo is fast-paced with deadlines.
The noise level in some areas of the work environment may be moderate.
