DESCRIPTION As a part of our Talent Acquisition Team, the Senior Recruiter will help ensure the delivery of our most valuable asset-people, across the Mid Atlantic. You will build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates. You will foster relationships with professional associations. You will identify target candidates and take advantage of networking opportunities to aggressively, source and screen, and close the best possible candidates. \u2022The majority of your day would be spent sourcing, developing and screening potential candidates across a myriad of resources.\u2022You will partner with hiring managers to identify personnel needs, job specifications, qualifications, and skills and assist them in crafting job descriptions and developing recruiting strategies.\u2022You will manage projects including email marketing, industry talent mapping, mining professional and alumni associations, social media, cold calling and engaging candidates.\u2022You will participate in skill development and team building programs; collaborating with Lead Recruiters in the creation of structured educational exercises and seizing unstructured coaching opportunities.\u2022You will develop passive candidate pipelines through name generation, networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research.\u2022You will assist with the development of recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.\u2022Working with your Lead Recruiter, you will evaluate effectiveness of current programs and makes recommendations appropriate for the business needs.\u2022Feel a sense of pride in knowing that you are helping to build the future of the organization and ensuring that the best available difference makers find fulfilling careers with Michael Baker International! PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS \u2022You\u2019ll need a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience; and at least 5-15 years of related experience.\u2022You\u2019ll need to be outgoing, organized and assertive. You\u2019ll also need to be able to network, source and uncover talent at all levels.\u2022Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.\u2022You\u2019ll need to be able to quickly get up to speed on our recruiting policy, procedures and databases and acquire an understanding of the company\u2019s service offerings, and employment opportunities.\u2022Naturally, you\u2019ll need computer skills (Microsoft Office), with the ability to utilize our applicant tracking system and social media savvy. \u2022If you have prior experience recruiting within the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industries it would definitely help you to hit the ground running.\u2022You\u2019ll need a general knowledge and understanding of recruitment\/placement laws and practices.
