As our Manager of Recruiting Coordinators, you’ll lead our team of recruiting coordinator leads and report into our Global Head of Recruiting Operations. In this role you’ll be responsible for our US RC group - supporting your leads in continuing to grow, develop and mentor their teams to do their best work and ensure our candidates receive 6 star experiences.
What You’ll Do
Lead a team of Recruiting Coordinator Leads responsible for managing teams of coordinators supporting recruiters and hiring managers with full life cycle recruiting processes
Scale the capability of the team, keeping candidate experience and efficiency at the forefront of planning
Continuously coach and develop the team to ensure goals are met and that the group is thriving
Partner with Recruiting leaders to ensure we are supporting them with bringing in great talent
Identify operational weaknesses and help improve existing or develop new processes to keep the US Recruiting Coordinator team scaling with Uber’s growth
Know the numbers – drive the metrics we use to evaluate RCs, including volume, speed, efficiency, and quality
Set a high bar for the team to think boldly and creatively and then to funnel that energy into concrete processes and execution plans, move fast, be biased toward action
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business/human resources
5 years of prior experience in a data-driven organization leading a team
Execution focus - you drive towards results and can roll up your sleeves to get things done, both individually and with your team
Self-starter attitude - you tackle your work and love the responsibility of being individually empowered
Optimistic leadership - you can serve as the guiding light for your team, through all types of situations
Natural curiosity - youre innovative, creative, and constantly looking for opportunities to tweak and optimize processes
A passion for developing and mentoring others- you love to coach people through the toughest problems and look forward to seeing others do their best work
Customer focus - you are obsessed with our customer (the Uber employee) experience and can handle basic inquiries, and escalated requests
Project Management Skills - you can organize anything, and keep several balls in the air implementing new projects, support employees, and assist your team at the same time
