A major health system in Philadelphia is in need of an interim Senior Compensation Consultant to support their team in downtown. Apply to find out more information about this opportunity!
Job Responsibilities:
Trains and educates hospital system supervisors, managers and other leaders in compensation systems and processes
Produces and generates training tools and presentations then presents training content to individuals or groups and in special meetings as required
Provides counsel and market knowledge to other compensation staff members in handling problematic transactions, interpreting and applying policy, dealing with customers in problem situations
Maintains the HRIS dashboard and reviews and inputs all job information
Regularly audits employee records to ascertain appropriate application and accuracy of job information
Researches and presents job evaluation studies of single jobs or whole departments
Communicates job and implementation information to originating managers
Performs analysis and provides input to annual compensation structure and policy changes for the organization as a whole or for specific departments and/or job families. Performs related market pricing
Performs internal demographics analysis to predict the cost and impact of salary structure and salary increase changes
Prepares recommendations for individual departments or assists with preparing recommendations for the organization as a whole
Participates in continual monitoring of the marketplace to ensure that compensation programs are competitive and appropriately positioned
Coordinates participation in compensation surveys
Bachelors Degree Required – HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
5 years of progressively responsible experience in compensation design and administration
Ability to think critically and combine it with sound practical judgment
Excellent employee and people relations skills, and verbal and written communications skills
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, database, and word processing computer applications
