P. of Human ResourcesFLSA Status: Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Manager position manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource (HR) department for Pristine Environments. The Regional Human Resources Manager manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. Carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: heavy employment recruiting and onboarding processes, departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (WinTeam), data entry and reporting, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The Regional Human Resources Coordinator originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of the Pristine Environments workforce. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all or part of these areas:- Recruiting and staffing logistics.- Employee orientation, development, and training.- Employee relations.- Organizational and space planning.- Performance management and improvement systems.- Organization development.- Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting.- Policy development and documentation.- Company employee communication.- Compensation and benefits administration.- Union Coordination and responses.- Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health; including employee services and counseling.- Workers’ compensation and annual reporting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; communicates and implements all policies and procedures as contained in the employee handbook, policies and procedure manuals.- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.- Administers compensation program; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.- Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.- Maintains affirmative action program; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.- Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career pathing program, writes and places advertisements.- Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.- Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.- Answers phones, and assists to help answer questions.- Sort mail to various departments.- Assists to produce required reports.- Other duties as required and requested. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Considerable knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree and five (5) years of Human Resources experience, ORSeven (7) years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and
