Who You Are:

You are looking for a challenging position where you will own the learning and development function and strategy and understand the key role it plays in the ongoing success of the company. You have a deep understanding of learning and development design theories and best practices. You are committed to understanding our current and future strategic plan and can implement training programs that will ensure our success. You are creative and passionate about continuous improvement. What You'll Do:
  • Define, develop and facilitate a comprehensive organization learning strategy and related plans to meet Webcor's strategic plan and 5-year basecamp.
  • Develop and drive a leadership development approach that identifies and prepares leadership for current and future organizational needs, including succession management.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, departmental/project leadership and managers, and other key stakeholders to identify training and developmental needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholder(s), subject matter experts, developers and/or vendors to manage program design projects; maintain project plan; and scope resource requirements, including costs.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of training programs to determine effectiveness in improving employee performance, facilitating progression toward individual career objectives and meeting organizational goals.
  • Participate in leadership development activities.
  • Oversee learning management system administration; track and provide regular reporting on attendance, learning effectiveness and impact on business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure Webcor's core values and organizational philosophies are the foundation of all L&D initiatives.
  • Travel locally and regionally as needed (no more than 20% travel).

What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • A Bachelor's degree and at least eight years' experience in Learning and Development, OR any appropriate combination of education and industry operational experience.
  • Experience working in the construction industry strongly preferred.
  • Practical experience with learning management systems (SuccessFactors preferred).
  • Proven success in executing and driving projects and strategies.
  • Strong leadership capabilities-a servant leader.
  • Commitment to understanding and applying ADDIE instructional design model, Adult Learning Theory and Rapid Instructional Design principles.
  • SPHR or certification in corporate training preferred.>
